ALLAH THE IMPOSTOR

ALLAH THE IMPOSTOR

Any accusation is invalid if it is not substantiated by facts and evidences. In recognition of this vital principle, we will provide irrefutable evidences to prove why Allah is an impostor. What is more, our evidences will be based solely on the Quran. This article is a must for Muslims. The Quran testifies that Allah revealed the Gospel and bestowed it on Jesus. It claims that Allah is the source behind the inspiration of the Gospel. But is this claim of Allah true? Let us first look at this claim of Allah:

Surah 5:46-47: And We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, confirming that which was revealed before him in the Torah, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein is guidance and a light . . . Let the People of the Gospel judge by that which Allah has revealed therein. Whoso judges not by that which Allah has revealed, such are evildoers.” (Pickthall)

Allah clearly testifies that he revealed the Gospel to Jesus. We will now prove why this claim of Allah is a preposterous lie. Please read through to the end of this article to understand why this claim is absolutely false. Jesus was sent as a Messenger of God centuries after the time of Moses. As both Biblical and Historical references prove, Jesus appeared about fifteen hundred years after Moses. This means that the Gospel was revealed centuries after the time of Moses. Muslims do not dispute this fact since Allah himself acknowledges this truth in the Quran. However, Allah made a huge blunder by contradicting his own teachings. Carefully consider the evidences in the following Quranic verses.

Surah 7:155-157 reveals to us a heartfelt Prayer of Moses and the Response of Allah to his prayer:

Surah 7:155: And Moses chose seventy of his people for Our place of meeting: When they were seized with violent quaking, he prayed: “O my Lord! If it had been Your Will, You could have destroyed, long before, both them and me: Would You destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us? This is no more than Your trial: By it You cause whom You will to stray, and You lead whom You will into the right path. You are our Protector: So forgive us and give us Your mercy; for You are the best of those who forgive.

Surah 7:156: And ordain for us that which is good in this life and in the Hereafter: For we have turned unto You.” He (Allah) said: “With My punishment I visit whom I will; but My mercy extends to all things. That mercy I shall ordain for those who do right, and practice regular charity, and those who believe in Our signs;-

Surah 7:157: those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own scriptures, – in the Law and the Gospel; – for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him it is they who will prosper.” (Yusuf Ali)

We will now analyze the above Quranic verses step by step to expose the blunder of Allah in the Quran:

THE PRAYER OF MOSES TO ALLAH

The Prayer of Moses begins in Surah 7:155

Surah 7:155: And Moses chose seventy of his people for Our place of meeting: When they were seized with violent quaking, he prayed: “O my Lord! If it had been Your Will, You could have destroyed, long before, both them and me: Would You destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us? This is no more than Your trial: By it You cause whom You will to stray, and You lead whom You will into the right path. You are our Protector: So forgive us and give us Your mercy; for You are the best of those who forgive.

And the Prayer of Moses continues on until the first part of Surah 7:156(a)

Surah 7:156(a): And ordain for us that which is good in this life and in the Hereafter: For we have turned unto You.”

THE RESPONSE OF ALLAH TO THE PRAYER OF MOSES

Allah’s Response begins in the second part of Surah 7:156(b)

Surah 7:156(b): He said: “With My punishment I visit whom I will; but My mercy extends to all things. That mercy I shall ordain for those who do right, and practice regular charity, and those who believe in Our signs;-

And Allah’s Response continues on right to the end of Surah 7:157

Surah 7:157: those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own scriptures, – in the Law and the Gospel; – for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him it is they who will prosper.”

The structure of the above Quranic verses is simple to follow and easy to understand:

From Verse 155 to Verse 156a is the Prayer of Moses in which he pleads with Allah for forgiveness and mercy.

And Allah’s Response to the Prayer of Moses begins in Verse 156b and continues on right through to the end of Verse 157.

In response to the plea of Moses for “forgiveness and mercy,” Allah specifies the four types of persons who will be shown “mercy” by him. In Verse 156b and Verse 157, Allah identifies them as follows:

 (i) Those who do right

(ii) Those who practice regular charity

(iii) Those who believe in Our signs

(iv) And those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own scriptures, – in the Law and the Gospel.

The above clarification was a direct response of Allah to the Prayer of Moses who pleaded for “forgiveness” and “mercy” on behalf of the Israelites:

“You are our Protector: So forgive us and give us Your mercy; for You are the best of those who forgive.”

This proves that the entire conversation between Allah and Moses in Surah 7:155-157 took place during the lifetime of Moses. It is important to remember this time-setting. Muslims have no problem in identifying the “unlettered Prophet” in the above Quranic verses as referring to Muhammad. As such, is this not a powerful testimony to prove the legitimacy of the prophethood of Muhammad? It would certainly be if this was true.

But there is a major problem with this claim in the Quran. It is one of the many instances where we find anachronisms or out of time references in the Quran. For Allah to specifically inform Moses that a reference of the unlettered Prophet can be found in the Gospel is not only absurd but also absolutely impossible. Why?  This is because the Gospel did not exist at the time of Moses. It was not available to Moses or to anyone else for that matter who lived during his time. And it will not be available until centuries later. So how can Allah make this ridiculous claim in the Quran?

Allah testified that the Israelites who lived during the time of Moses can find predictions of Muhammad “in the Law and the Gospel.” This is an obvious error in the Quran. How can the Israelites who lived at the time of Moses find predictions of Muhammad in the Gospel when the Gospel was not revealed for another fifteen hundred years? Muslim apologists are aware of this gross error in the Quran. Some desperate Muslims try to reconcile this erroneous passage in the Quran by claiming that the Quran is actually referring to the Gospel that would be revealed later to the Israelites. However, Allah is clearly referring to the Gospel which supposedly existed with the contemporaries of Moses. Let us look at the Quranic verse once again:

Surah 7:157: Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel which are with them. (Pickthall)

As testified in the above Quranic verse, Allah is clearly referring to the Gospel which was “with them” at the time when he spoke to Moses. He is referring to the Gospel which was allegedly in the possession of the Israelites at the time of Moses. And to further confirm this, Allah spoke in the past-tense when he revealed this Quranic verse to Moses. He stated: “whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel.” Thus, Allah is clearly testifying that the Israelites can “find” a prophecy about Muhammad “mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel” that were already in their possession.

Since the Gospel was not revealed at the time of Moses, no Israelite will be able to “find” anything in this non-existing Gospel. The claim that the Bible predicted the coming of Muhammad is as good as the non-existing Gospel at the time of Moses. If that which is given as evidence for the authenticity of Muhammad’s prophethood turns out to be false, what does this reveal to us about the Prophet of Islam? He is as fake as the non-existing Gospel.

What can we learn from this colossal error in the Quran? Muhammad cannot be a Prophet of the true God. Being truly uneducated in the knowledge of the earlier Scriptures, Muhammad was unaware of an obvious blunder in the Quran. What is significant is how this ignorance of Muhammad made its way into the Quran. This means that either Muhammad himself wrote parts of the Quran or Allah is equally ignorant as his illiterate Prophet. Either way, this proves Islam false. It also proves that Allah cannot be the one who revealed the Gospel as he claims. Allah is but an impostor.

It is impossible to accept the Quran’s claim of divine authorship. The above error is just one out of the several time compressions that can found in the Quran. There are many other accounts of anachronism in the Quran involving several persons who in historical reality are separated by hundreds of years. The existence of such anachronisms in the Quran proves that it cannot be the product of an all-knowing God. Muhammad can be excused because he was unlettered but what excuse does Allah have? This gives us a powerful reason to reject Islam. The writings of the Gospel were inspired not by Allah but Jehovah – the only true and living God. It would be wise for Muslims to turn to Jehovah for their eternal salvation.

Absolute Absurdities in the Qur’an

ABSOLUTE ABSURDITIES IN THE QUR’AN

A thorough study of the Qur’an reveals that Islam simply cannot be the religion of the true God. Many are unaware of the numerous absurdities that are taught in the Qur’an. An unbiased study of the Qur’an shows that far from being a miracle as Muslims claim, the Qur’an is a hoax. An honest examination of the Qur’an reveals that many of its teachings are in direct conflict with rational thoughts. As such, it is logically impossible for the Qur’an to be the Word of God. The Qur’an is replete with scientific heresies, historical blunders, mathematical mistakes, grammatical errors and logical absurdities. Could God be as ignorant as he appears to be in the Qur’an? We do not think so. These are very serious accusations raised against the Qur’an. To be fair to Muslims, we must provide clear evidences to justify our accusations against the Qur’an. We will do just that. While we may not cover each and every one of these absurdities in the Qur’an, a few should be sufficient to prove our point. Let’s begin.

SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE

A contradiction to the simple laws of nature is found in the Qur’an.

Surah 37:143-144: “Had it not been that he repented and glorified God, He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection.” (Yusuf Ali)

The above account is a narration about the Prophet Jonah. This Qur’anic verse is saying that if Jonah did not repent and glorify Allah while he was in the belly of the fish, he would have remained there until the “Day of Resurrection.” According to the teachings of Islam, the Day of Resurrection or Qiyamah refers to the time of the end. Let us analyze the implication of this Qur’anic verse.

Can Jonah really stay in the belly of the fish until the time of the end? For Jonah to remain in the belly of the fish until the time of the end, the fish must live until the time of the end. We know with absolute certainty that the life of all creatures including the fish and Jonah have their limitations. In harmony with the natural physical laws that govern our lives, by now both Jonah and the fish would have disintegrated into oblivion – long before the time of the end. Is Allah expecting the fish to live for thousands of years until the time of the end? Will the food that we ate last week, still remain in our stomach till today? If not, can Jonah remain in the stomach of the fish until Judgment Day? Does not Allah know about the simple natural laws of digestion and excretion? Will the true God inspire such illogical verses in his divine Scriptures? Imagine! Allah is saying that an unrepentant Jonah would have lived far longer than a repentant Jonah.

This leads us to only one obvious conclusion. The above Qur’anic verses could not have been inspired by the true God. It only proves that Muhammad got carried away when narrating the account of Jonah to his contemporaries. Muslims have a choice to make here. They have to either believe that God makes silly mistakes or accept the fact that Muhammad was faking inspiration. It cannot be both ways. It just takes one lie to prove the Qur’an wrong. And we have just seen one.

ALL ARE OBEDIENT TO ALLAH

Surah 30:26: “To Him belongs every being that is in the heavens and on earth: all are devoutly obedient to Him.” (Yusuf Ali)

Unto Him belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient unto Him.” (Pickthall)

According to the Qur’an “every being that is in heaven and on earth,” are “devotedly obedient” to Allah. It does not take much looking around to make the simple observation that most human beings are not obedient to Allah. The above Qur’anic verse is contradiction since the Qur’an itself mentions hundreds of times about the disobediences of the evildoers, both from among mankind and from Jinns. Let us look into one such verse in the Qur’an to prove our point.

Surah 16:61: “And if Allah were to seize mankind for their wrong-doing, He would not leave on it (the earth) a single moving (living) creature, but He postpones them for an appointed term and when their term comes, neither can they delay nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment).” (Hilali-Khan)

On the one hand, the Qur’an claims in Surah 30:26 that all are devoutly obedient to Allah. However, on the other hand, it states in Surah 16:61 that there is not a single “creature” on earth who is obedient to Allah. In fact, Surah 16:61 validates our argument more forcefully since it states clearly that not a single human being would remain alive today if Allah had chosen to execute his punishments appropriately. Thus, according to this Qur’anic verse, the only reason humans are alive is because Allah postpones the punishment they so rightly deserve. Thus, it can be seen that the contradiction is even more prominent when a comparison is made between these two Qur’anic verses.

This is yet, another example of internal contradiction in the Qur’an. This is an inexcusable error in the Qur’an because it is an obvious fact that not all are obedient to Allah. Why would Allah threaten mankind with “Hell-fire” if all are obedient to him? Why legislate Islamic law codes to punish wrongdoers when all are supposed to be obedient to Allah? Moreover, what about Satan? Did not the Qur’an state clearly that Satan disobeyed Allah?

Surah 18:50: And remember when We said unto the angels: Fall prostrate before Adam, and they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He was of the jinn, so he rebelled against his Lord’s command. (Pickthall)

The Qur’an itself admits that it cannot be from God when it states:

Surah 4:82: “Do they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions.” (Hilali-Khan)

Yes! We “have found therein much contradictions” and this means that the Qur’an cannot be from God. Let us now move on to another absurd teaching in the Qur’an.

World’s Muslims cannot face Mecca to pray

Muslims all over the world are required to face Mecca while praying. This is one of the greatest Islamic idiocies still being practiced by the Muslims in this age of scientific enlightenment.

Surah 2:144: “We have seen the turning of thy face to heaven (for guidance, O Muhammad). And now verily We shall make thee turn (in prayer) toward a Qiblah which is dear to thee. So turn thy face toward the Inviolable Place of Worship, and ye (O Muslims), wheresoever ye may be, turn your faces (when ye pray) toward it.” (Pickthall)

Surah 2:50: “And from wheresoever you start forth for prayers, turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah), and wheresoever you are, turn your faces towards, it when you pray.” (Hilali-Khan)

While standing upright to pray, most of the Muslims of the world who are further away from Mecca will not be able to face Mecca while praying. While standing erect, the straight line of sight of any person will be in the direction of outer space. This line of sight is a tangent to the earth, which is a sphere. Since the Qur’an believes that the earth is flat, it erroneously requires that every Muslims face Mecca while praying. Standing upright, the vast majority of Muslims of the world can only face outer space, and not Mecca. So how can Allah command Muslims to face Mecca while praying from “wheresoever” they are on the spherical earth? Only those living near Mecca in Saudi Arabia can face Mecca while offering their prayers.

For Muslims who are located on the opposite side of the world from Mecca, their Qiblah (prayer direction) would be directly down towards the ground if they want to face Mecca. For example, people in Solomon Islands in the Pacific Ocean will have to pray vertically downward to the center of the earth because Solomon Islands is about exactly on the other side of the earth from Mecca. In view of the globe shaped earth, a Muslim’s attempt to face Mecca from this part of the world – in the prescribed Islamic way – would be futile because he will be facing the sky and not Mecca.

Let us now analyze this issue from another angle. Let us take the example of a Muslim praying from the Solomon Islands in the Pacific Ocean which is on the other side of the earth from Mecca. As stated above, he will be facing outer space and not Mecca when he prays in the prescribed Islamic way. For the sake of enlightenment, let’s give the Muslim some allowance. Even if we were to allow his vision to curve along with the contour of the earth, the result will still be damaging for Islam. You will be surprised to learn that he will now be able to face any direction and still be facing Mecca. This is especially true for the Muslims who live on the opposite side of the globe from Mecca. They can pray even in opposing directions and still face Mecca. This will therefore make the Qiblah absolutely worthless for them. Unbelievable?

Try a little experiment. Take a ball or any spherically-shaped object. Draw point ‘A’ on the ball and point ‘B’ on the opposite side. Now, see how many lines you can draw connecting point ‘B’ to point ‘A’ on the ball. The result will be many, many lines. The earth is the ball. Point ‘A’ would be Mecca and Point ‘B’ is the Muslim who lives on the other side of the world. The Muslim at Point ‘B’ can look in any direction and still face Mecca because the earth is a globe. If you are on the opposite of the earth from the Ka’ba in Mecca, you can pray in any direction. You can pray face to face with the man in front of you and you will still be facing Mecca.

According to Islam, it would be sacrilegious for a Muslim to pray with his back to Mecca. From a flat-earth perspective, this would make sense. But being on a spherical globe, whenever a Muslim prays facing Mecca, he will without fail have his back towards Mecca at the same time. This will be especially true if he is living on the other side of the earth. Since Muslims are not allowed to answer the call of nature by either facing or turning their backs towards Mecca, how can they in reality avoid doing so in view of the globe shaped earth?

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 8, Hadith Number 388:

Narrated By Abu Aiyub Al-Ansari: The Prophet said, “While defecating, neither face nor turn your back to the Qibla but face either east or west.” Abu Aiyub added. “When we arrived in Sham we came across some lavatories facing the Qibla; therefore we turned ourselves while using them and asked for Allah’s forgiveness.”

Sahih Muslim, Book 002, Number 0507:

Abu Ayyub reported: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Whenever you go to the desert, neither turn your face nor turn your back towards the Qibla while answering the call of nature, but face towards the east or the west.

The facts provided here are so obvious and does not require much thinking but Allah seems to be ignorant of this simple basic truth. The reason for this is apparent. Allah and Muhammad does not have a clue about the shape of the earth. Allah must have thought the earth is flat. Otherwise, he would not have ordered Muslims around the world to face a specific direction while praying. Can the maker of the earth be ignorant of its shape? The blind faith that Muslims have in the Qur’an prevents them from admitting and acknowledging this scientific error in the Qur’an.

ALLAH IN WONDERLAND

There are many amazing fairy tales in the Qur’an. One such tale that touches the heart of most pious Muslims is the breathtaking story of Muhammad’s exploration of the heavens. His mode of transport was a flying steed, which was smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey. This flying steed had a human face. However, we will leave this heavenly adventure of Muhammad for another time and concentrate on a stirring story that is closer to home.

Surah 27:17-19: “And there were gathered together unto Solomon his armies of the jinn and humankind, and of the birds, and they were set in battle order; till, when they reached the Valley of the Ants, an ant exclaimed: O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his armies crush you, unperceiving. And Solomon smiled, laughing at her speech, and said: My Lord, arouse me to be thankful for Thy favour wherewith Thou hast favoured me and my parents, and to do good that shall be pleasing unto Thee.” (Pickthall)

The Qur’an claims that Solomon had an army of “jinn” and “birds.” This in itself is reason enough for us to reject the Qur’an as a book of Fairy Tales. The account also tells us about a “talking ant” who warned her fellow ants of the approaching danger. For an “ant” to communicate such sophisticated information to other ants really belongs to the realm of Fairy Tales. And notice this ant could actually distinguish between Solomon and his soldiers. For this ant to actually communicate and say: O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his armies crush you, unperceiving,” it would require that ant to have a language system with a structure capable of constructing sentences. Speaking such as this is only possible when a species has considerable thinking power. Basically, it needs something comparable to human intelligence.

Astonishingly, this ant knows that one person among the many is special, and even knows his name is Solomon. How did the ant know that the person before her was Solomon? Were they formally introduced to each other earlier? Now we have more than a talking ant. We have a talking ant with mystical powers. Furthermore, this ant even knows that Solomon is not just special, but he is even the commander of the armies since it uses the possessive pronoun “his armies.” And the Qur’an claims that the ant also knows the difference between intentional and unintentional behavior. It knows that Solomon and his armies will not crush the ants deliberately but may crush them “unperceiving.” How did the ant get all this information, as well as all the other details? Also, how can Solomon understand what the ant was saying, when, in truth, ants do not have a language. Even if Muslims were to claim that Solomon was gifted with miraculous perception of the speech of ants, it is still not possible if there is no speech to perceive in the first place. Imagine, Muslims are willing to kill themselves over these Fairy Tales.

Wait a minute! There is more. The Qur’an also informs us about a talking bird that praises and glorifies Allah. This bird even knows the Islamic creed – “There is no god but Allah.” Circumcised? Allah knows best. This pious Muslim bird tolerates no rivalry towards Allah by those who worship others besides Allah. Having a solid foundation in the teachings of Islam, this devout Muslim bird understands that it is Shaitan who causes others to turn away from the true worship of Allah. Besides religious knowledge, it also knows some geography. It knows the name of the countries it visits. However, as a regular in Solomon’s army, this bird is liable for punishment if it goes AWOL. It cannot take the risk of flying from Jerusalem to Ethiopia without having the official authorization from Solomon. Rules are rules. Now read for yourself the amazing account of the Hoopoe bird:

Surah 27:20-30: And he [Solomon] reviewed the birds, then said: How is it I see not the hoopoe or is it that he is of the absentees? I will most certainly punish him with a severe punishment, or kill him, or he shall bring to me a clear plea.

And he [the hoopoe bird] tarried not long, then said: I comprehend that which you do not comprehend and I have brought to you a sure information from Sheba. Surely I found a woman ruling over them, and she has been given abundance and she has a mighty throne: I found her and her people adoring the sun instead of Allah, and the Shaitan has made their deeds fair-seeming to them and thus turned them from the way, so they do not go aright That they do not make obeisance to Allah, Who brings forth what is hidden in the heavens and the earth and knows what you hide and what you make manifest: Allah, there is no god but He: He is the Lord of mighty power.

He [Solomon] said: We will see whether you have told the truth or whether you are of the liars: Take this my letter and hand it over to them, then turn away from them and see what answer they return.

She [Queen of Sheba] said: O chief! Surely an honorable letter has been delivered to me. Surely it is from Sulaiman [Solomon], and surely it is in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Sarwar)

Thanks to the initiative of the Hoopoe bird, the Queen of Sheba submitted to Allah. She and Solomon lived happily ever after. The End.

GOSPEL (INJIL) IN THE TIME OF MOSES?

Since God is perfect, his Word must be perfect and free from errors. We will now reveal why the Qur’an is not the perfect Word of God. Many verses in the Qur’an make it clear that the Gospel (Injil) was given to Jesus. Muslims themselves know that Jesus was born many centuries after the time of Moses. Historical and Biblical evidences show that Jesus appeared some fifteen hundred years after the time of Moses. Muslims acknowledge this truth because the Qur’an itself makes it clear that Jesus appeared much later after the time of Moses. However, a shocking error can be found in Surah 7:155-157.

In Surah 7:155-157 we find a prayer by Moses and Allah’s subsequent response to him:

Surah 7:155: And Moses chose of his people seventy men for Our appointment. But when the earthquake overtook them, he said, `My Lord, if Thou hadst pleased, Thou couldst have destroyed them before this, and me too. Wilt Thou destroy us for that which the foolish among us have done? This is nothing but a trial from Thee. Thou causest to perish thereby whom Thou pleasest and Thou guidest whom Thou pleasest. Thou art our Protector; forgive us then and have mercy upon us and Thou art the Best of those who forgive;

Surah 7:156: And ordain for us good in this world, as well as in the next; we have turned to Thee with repentance.’ ALLAH replied, `I will inflict MY punishment on whom I will; but MY mercy encompasses all things; so I will ordain it for those who act righteously and pay the Zakaat and those who believe in Our Signs –

Surah 7:157: Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet, the Ummi whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel which are with them. He enjoins on them good and forbids them evil and makes lawful for them the good things and forbids them the bad things and remove from them their burdens and shackles that were upon them. So those who shall believe in him and honour and support him and help him and follow the light that has been sent down with him – these shall prosper.’ (Sher Ali)

Provided below is another translation of Surah 7:155-157. And we will analyze the three Qur’anic verses:

[A] THE PRAYER OF MOSES TO ALLAH:

Surah 7:155: Moses chose from his people seventy men for Our appointment, and when they were seized by trembling, he prayed, ‘My Lord, if You had chosen to do so, You could have destroyed them long before this, and me too, so will You now destroy us for what the foolish among us have done? This is only a trial from You – through it, You cause whoever You will to stray and guide whoever You will- and You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best of those who forgive.

And the prayer of Moses continues on until the first part of Surah 7:156(a):

Grant us good things in this world and in the life to come. We turn to You.’

[B] ALLAH’S RESPONSE TO MOSES:

Allah’s response to Moses begins in the second part of Surah 7:156(b):

God said, ‘I bring My punishment on whoever I will, but My mercy encompasses all things. ‘I shall ordain My mercy for those who are conscious of God and pay the prescribed alms; who believe in Our Revelations;

And Allah’s response to Moses continues on in Surah 7:157:

who follow the Messenger – the unlettered prophet they find described in the Torah that is with them, and in the Gospel – who commands them to do right and forbids them to do wrong, who makes good things lawful to them and bad things unlawful, and relieves them of their burdens, and the iron collars that were on them. So it is those who believe him, honour and help him, and who follow the light which has been sent down with him, who will succeed.’ (Abdel Haleem)

The structure of the above Qur’anic verses is very clear and understandable.

From Verse 155 to Verse 156a is the prayer of Moses asking Allah for mercy and forgiveness. And Allah’s response to the prayer of Moses begins in Verse 156b and continues on through to the end of Verse 157.

Beginning from Verse 156b to the first part of Verse 157 Allah outlines to Moses the three types of persons who will be forgiven and shown mercy:

(1) ‘I shall ordain My mercy for those who are conscious of God and pay the prescribed alms; (2) who believe in Our Revelations; (3) who follow the Messenger- the unlettered prophet they find described in the Torah that is with them, and in the Gospel.

As we can note, Allah’s response was a direct answer to Moses who prayed: “You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best of those who forgive.”

Muslims have no problem in identifying the “unlettered Prophet” as referring to Muhammad in these Qur’anic verses. Is it not then a powerful testimony and proof for the prophethood of Muhammad? It would certainly be an outstanding evidence if it was true. But there is a major problem with this claim. It is one of the many instances where we find out of time references or anachronisms in the Qur’an. For Allah to speak to Moses and say that the people can find the unlettered Prophet mentioned in the Gospel is a strong anachronism since the Gospel was not available during the time of Moses. And it will not be available for another fifteen hundred years.

The Qur’an is testifying that the Israelites at the time of Moses can find predictions of Muhammad “in the Torah and the Gospel.” This is an obvious error in the Quran. How could the Israelites at the time of Moses find predictions of Muhammad in the Gospel when in the first place they did not possess the Gospel? The Gospel would not be written for another fifteen hundred years. Muslim apologists desperately try to reconcile this erroneous passage by saying that the Qur’an is referring to the Gospel that would come later to the Israelites. However, Allah is clearly referring to the Gospel that is in the possession of the Israelites who were contemporaries of Moses. Let us look at the Qur’anic verse once again:

Surah 7:157: “Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet, the Ummi whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel which are with them.” (Sher Ali)

Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel which are with them.” (Pickthall)

Actually the above Qur’anic verse needs no explanation because its meaning is crystal clear. The phrase, which are with them” simply refers to the Gospel which was supposed to be in the possession of the Israelites at the time when Allah answered the prayer of Moses. Thus, Allah was speaking about a Gospel which was with the Israelites at the time of Moses. It is very clear that Allah was not speaking about a future Gospel. And Allah also spoke in the past-tense when he said to Moses: whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel.” This means Allah is saying that a prophecy about Muhammad can be found by the Israelites in the “Torah and the Gospel” that were already in their possession at that time. We must ask these lying Muslim apologists, “Is this Qur’anic passage supposed to predict the coming of Muhammad or the coming of the Gospel?”

Since the Gospel has not yet been revealed at the time of Moses, no Israelite will be able to find anything in this non-existing Gospel. The claims by Muslims that the Bible predicted the coming of Muhammad are as good as the non-existing Gospel at the time of Moses. If that which is given as evidence of authenticity for Muhammad’s prophethood turns out to be false, what conclusion can we draw from this?

We can clearly conclude that Muhammad was not only a false prophet but he was also truly uneducated. Being truly uneducated in the contents and history of the earlier Scriptures, Muhammad made quite an obvious blunder. However, what is significant is how this error made its way into the Qur’an. This means either Muhammad himself wrote parts of the Qur’an by himself or Allah is an ignorant deity. Thus, it is impossible to accept the Qur’an’s claim of divine authorship. This is one of several time compressions that can found in the Qur’an. There are many other accounts of anachronism in the Qur’an involving several persons who in historical reality are separated by hundreds of years. The existence of such anachronisms in the Qur’an is a clear indication that it cannot be the product of an all-knowing God. Muhammad can be excused because he was unlettered but what excuse does Allah have? This gives us a powerful reason to reject Islam.

HUMANS CREATED BEFORE HEAVEN AND EARTH

In view of the intensity of the idiocy of this Qur’anic verse, we have provided the rendering of two different translations below:

Surah 21:30: Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one, before We tore them apart? We made every living thing from water. Then, will they not believe? (S. V. Ahamed)

Do the infidels who deny Allah not see into the creation of the universe – the heavens and the earth! Both were one mass and We split them asunder and We made every living being dependent upon water…, Will they – the infidels – not be brought to their senses and realize that there is a Creator!” (Al-Muntakhab)

Can you comprehend the utter foolishness of this Qur’anic verse? Allah is asking: “Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one, before We tore them apart?” Could they have really seen this? Do not be mistaken. Allah is not asking a rhetorical question here. Read carefully. Notice that the strength of Allah’s argument is based on the assumption that the unbelievers, being eye-witnesses of this phenomenon, have no valid reason to deny him. Therefore, this Qur’anic verse is clearly presupposing that since the disbelievers had already witnessed this phenomenon of the heavens and the earth being joined together and their subsequent separation, they have no excuse for not believing in Allah. In other words, Allah is asking why the unbelievers still do not believe in him even after having seen the clear evidence “that the heavens and the earth were joined together before Allah tore them apart.”

For the unbelievers to “see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one before Allah tore them apart,” they must actually witness the creation of the universe in stages. They should live not only during the period when the heavens and the earth were joined together but also when they were separated. Since mankind was not created before the creation of the physical heavens and the earth, how could the “unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together” and later see Allah tore them apart”? Since this phenomenon occurred before the unbelievers even existed, how could Allah then ask, “Will they not then believe?”

Even if Muslims are adamant that the questions raised by Allah are rhetorical in nature, this still does not diminish the idiocy of this Qur’anic verse. This would now mean that Allah is demanding the unbelievers to believe in him based on the evidences that they could not have seen. Imagine, the Qur’an is actually demanding the unbelievers to believe in the unseen Allah based on the strength of unseen evidences. Can anything be more foolish than this? Can unseen evidences be used as evidences to prove anything? How can the existence of someone unseen be proven by evidences that are equally unseen? In contrast to the foolishness of Allah, the true God wisely uses the things seen to reason on matters that are unseen.

Hebrews 3:4: “Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructed all things is God.”

Using simple logic, the Bible reasons that just as a house cannot come by itself and needs a builder (seen), neither can the universe and the living things in it come by itself without a Creator (unseen). The visible to prove the invisible and not the invisible to prove the invisible.

Since the unbelievers did not see and could not have seen the heavens and the earth were joined together before Allah tore them apart,” then according to the very argument put forth by Allah in this verse, the unbelievers now have a legitimate reason not to believe in Allah. And so do we. This Qur’anic verse is providing us a valid reason not to believe in Allah and the religion he inspired.

It was certainly foolish of Allah to ask: Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one, before We tore them apart? Then, will they not believe? As we can see, the question itself is inappropriate. If Allah cannot even ask the right questions, do you think he can give us the right answers? We will now conclude this article by considering an account from the Hadith. This will serve to prove that the teachings of absurdity are not limited to Allah but are also taught by his chosen prophet.

AN ASTOUNDING SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY IN ISLAM

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 482:

Narrated By Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hell Fire complained to its Lord saying, ‘O my Lord! My different parts eat up each other.’ So, He allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in summer and this is the reason for the severe heat and the bitter cold you find in weather.”

Now that we know scientifically why it gets cold in winter and hot in summer, let us conclude this article. You may be astonished to know that the Bible actually prophesied about the time when absurdities such as these will be believed by those who reject the truth. Therefore, we should not be surprised when Muslims believe in such false stories as the ones we just discussed.

2 Timothy 4:3-4: For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the wholesome teaching, but according to their own desires, they will surround themselves with teachers to have their ears tickled. They will turn away from listening to the truth and give attention to false stories.

The absurdity of absurdities is that Muslims are willing to kill themselves over a religion that is virtually overflowing with absurdities such as these. It is time for Muslims to wake up. For their own good, it is absolutely necessary for them to wise up and stay away from Muhammad:

Proverbs 14:7: Stay away from the foolish man, For you will not find knowledge on his lips. – The Holy Bible

How true! What have been discussed in this article are only a few out of the numerous absurdities that can be found in the Qur’an. There are many more. One error is one too many for a book claiming to be the perfect Word of God.
